Jonathan is the CEO of Global Business Solutions and has been at the forefront of the changing labour market landscape over the past twenty years. Jonathan holds several key roles including being nominated as a business representative, as Employment Conditions Commissioner, Chief Operating Officer of the Confederation of Associations in the Private Employment Sector (CAPES), member of the Employment Services Board, and as a BUSA representative at NEDLAC. A sought-after advisor/speaker and lecturer, Jonathan has conducted thousands of strategic interventions and presentations, sharing his expertise and insight.
John is a workforce solutions expert and a thought leader in designing and implementing sustainable and integrated strategies and models. John has been an Executive Director and Global Executive: Strategic Enablement and Business Optimisation for the largest listed workplace solutions business in South Africa. He has also sat as a NEDLAC negotiator, been appointed to the Employment Equity and Essential Services Commissions by the Minister of Labour as well as represented SA internationally at the ILO ILC’s for a number of years.
Thembi is the Managing director of Global Business Solutions and a leading human resources consultant on B-BBEE and Employment Equity. Thembi advises several national and multi-national organisations on their employment equity strategies, policy development and compliance. Thembi is an Employment Equity Commissioner representing business, as well as a Board Member of the Association of Skills Development in South Africa (ASDSA).
